That’s what I titled this. I did it on May 30th Saturday night/Sunday morning.
I found this sample and felt inspired after not really creating all week.
And the track came out sounding how I felt.
A mix of emotions from Frustration/Anger and mostly just an overarching Sadness.
And just a bit of Hope.
All the stuff I’ve seen the last 3 or so weeks have made me feel all these emotions.
So this beat is the Emoticon that can explain it better for me.

Bandcamp has decided that for today June 19th (Juneteenth) in support of Racial Justice they will be donating their share to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund: www.naacpldf.org
This will go on from 12AM Pacific Time June 19th till 12 AM Pacific Time June 20th.
Their share is basically 15% earnings of music sold through the platform.
So that inspired me to donate the other 85%.
[That of course does not include the 1 or 2% that PayPal takes for payment processing]
And I’m like last minute trying to figure this all out. I’ve been jumping through links and websites for the last 3-4 hours thinking on how do I feel I wanna go about it.
So I’ve come up with this:
I’m first chippin in $100 from my own pocket.
And I’m putting up this track EMOTICON for sale that was inspired by Mr. Floyd and what he has sparked.
I’m putting it up as Name Your Price.
You can enter $0 (but if you do please share the link to the single at least)
You can enter $1, or $2, or $5, or $10 or whatever you feel...
Every penny of My cut generated here will be donated to the National Police Accountability Project:
From their mission page:
“National Police Accountability Project (NPAP) is a 501(c)(3) organization and a project of the National Lawyers Guild, which was founded in 1937 as the first racially integrated national bar association.
In 1999, NPAP was created as a non-profit to protect the human and civil rights of individuals in their encounters with law enforcement and detention facility personnel. The central mission of NPAP is to promote the accountability of law enforcement officers and their employers for violations of the Constitution and the laws of the United States.”
So, Bandcamp’s 15% is going to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and My 85% is going to the National Police Accountability Project.
I would like to focus this effort on this track in particular, EMOTICON.
It will Simplify things.
And you can Please leave a message/review/sentiments on the track page once you’ve purchased in support.
Plus I will donate whatever is earned from this track moving forward beyond today.
But Also, If you purchase anything from the www.TestTubeBoomBap.com
catalog Today with Rusty Joints as the artist name, then I will donate 100% of my earnings from that too.
Thanks for any help.
I appreciate y’all.
